Are correct ... the bike is not it!
Basically, you can not tell you which bike is right for one.
The following might be helpful for you much in advance:
- your financial framework
- Street or area
- Naked or super athletes
- Tour Suitable for
I remain, let's suitability for tour. Yes, actually, each of the street-legal bike is suitable for touring, but if you look after 500 km on it still feels good - there are just then maybe the small ailments.
If you have that before you make long trips, should not also forget the baggage handling. There are also more likely not tour conditionally fit bikes such as eg. KTM 690 and tank bags .. However much one does not clean. For the road this weekend, or short side trip into the mountains, it goes from loose. Assuming the bottom does after a long sitting still with ;)
Super athletes are rounder. However, it could once again create a longer driving some its problems in the arm joints have (by the inclined seating position). The windshield on the other hand offers great protection from possibly short stretches of motorway.
Naked bikes are becoming more popular. Displacement, horsepower and maneuverability are always here The superficial. Taking for example the Suzuki B-King has to offer ... what neat.
For the track, real sports equipment may be highly recommended. Because they are designed for speed and the chassis are easily adapted sports. But naked bikes are like driving on some ring (eg. Super Duke, Kawasaki Z750 + Z1000 or FZ1 Fazer also). Only with these somanche fast courses (such as, Zb. The Salzburgring) become quite frustrating, because it is completely exposed to the wind and over 200 platforms, it may pull on your neck muscles ;)
Also not unimportant is the body size. This one is safe on the road, it would be advisable that you can touch the ground with both feet well. Otherwise, it could at times lead to unpleasant stopping drop, especially when the ground is perhaps a little cryptic.
It is best to visit before buying a bike the dealer or inquire at motorcycle shows well. There is an annual measure (Vienna, Linz, Munich and Cologne). There you will find a knowledgeable staff that are available for help and advice available.
Also fear test drive please do not. They are very important because otherwise you can buy a "pig in a poke". Sometimes you have a dream bike and then it comes out on a test drive that one can not ride it (even already experienced).
Also various motorcycle magazines such as eg. Riding the bike when buying cars can be very helpful. Especially in the spring when the producers show off with new models, the editors take as example. a gentleman Zonko & Co to the same time the new cars and test them through their paces.
In this sense ... have fun ... test drive your new bike will be waiting for you!
More information on individual bikes you find in the forum. There, ladies present their motorcycles. Why not buzz :)
